
Nobody can ever say I don't put in my dues at crossfit. This war wound is from practicing snatches. I didn't even have any weight on the bar. Today was a better day. The WOD was Deadlift 5-5-5-5-5 reps. I got 5 reps at 262 lbs. This was great considering my 1 rep max was 265 just a month or two ago. I must have been bad off yesterday because people noticed my attitude. I then went home and got the lawn mowed (backyard hadn't been done in three weeks) so it was like a double workout. On the nutrition side I have been IFing (intermittent Fasting). I thought I would give this a try and so far I like what is happening. The problem is that I have been eating crap on my on days. I had Wendy's on the way home and Jimmy Johns twice today. It makes me think that if I would eat better I would be doing even better. I noticed I had no gas in yesterday's workout and I wonder if it was the fasting. This may not work if I will always be like that on my fasting days.
One of the most exciting things was that today was the first day of college football. I watched a few insignificant games, but at least it was football. Saturday is the first game of the Bo Pellini era for the Huskers. Only time will tell, but it can't be as bad as it was last year.
